Youngest Reigning Monarch
Scenes of great enthusiasm marked the iavestifcure and acclamation Jof King Farouk in Cairo whereby he becomes the world's youngest reigning monarch, Huge crowds lined the procession route from the Falace to Parliament where a brilliant gathering, including the, Queen Mother and Princesses, witnessed the taking of the oath ceremony in the Ohamber of Deputies. There was no coronation m modern Egypt has no crown.
