SUNDAY NIGHT CONCERT
Request Programme A grand Sunday night concert will bo given in the Hastings Munieipal Theatre on Sunday next at 8.15 p.m. in aid of the New Relief Workers' Association distress funds. This will be a special request programmo. Mr Wally Ireland, the favourite comedian, will again entertain with completely new items, and Mr Will Keen will again be heard in rrtmber of popular songs and will sing by speeial request "The Old Sundowner. " At a recent concert at Masterton this iteni met with a wonderful reception. Miss Peggy Black, of Napier, will appear in a number of very pretty dance scenes. On her last visit to Hastings Miss Black 's dance items proved very popular with her audience. Ngairo Keen, a wonderful child perforiner will be malting her first appearance in Hastings, and her items will be quite a treat to the Hastings audience. Mr H. Marshall, of Napier, too, will bo malting his first appearance in Hastings in several song numbcrs. Mr Eric Paynter in song hits. Erico and Jerico, the Mexican duettists; Mr Geoff Walker, Mr Wally Ireland and Co., with Strawberry and the Cow and Wazza Wazza the Bird in a screamingly funny comedy turn; Wally Ireland and Will Keen in a number of double patter sketches — these will be the other contributors to the programme. Mrs Bromley Hill, of Napier, will be the pianist. The whole programme is of a light nature and will provide an evening 's good entertainment. As the concert is for a good cause, a full house is expected. So you are advised to book early at Denton Wyatt's, where the plans will bo held till 6 p.m. on Saturday night. From fi.45 on Sunday night thc plans will bo at tho theatre.
