E. Brbwn, a New South Wales studmaster. The mare then had the Nightmarch foal at foot ind the filly was sold at the Sydney jales in the following April for 100 guineas, to go to South Australia. a A
Grey Honour will have his first race over a mile when he contests the Winter Cup, and he can be expeeted to run Well (says a southern writer). Rising five years of age, this Honour — Grey Lass horse has' proved an honest anu genuine racehorse, being seldom out of a place. FbLfoiving his trip to Wellington, whero he ran fourth and first .in two starts, he lightened up slightly, but he js in great heart, and a race in the Brabazon Handicap at the Christchurch Hunt Ciub's meeting next Saturday should serve to fit him properly for a gruelling race. Later on in the new season it is the " intention of his trainer, D. F.
