DRAUGHT TEAM SOLD

The Hawke's Bay Farmers' Co-op. Assn., Ltd., report having held a very successful sale on account of Mrs. S. A. Bushett, on the farm, Main North road, Waipawa, of her draught team, comprising seven geldings and mares, and farm implements and sundries. There was a good attendance of buyers, and bidding was brisk throughout. Following is a range of prices: - 1 draught gelding, 10 years, all places, £44; 1 do., 8 years, all places, £50; 1 do., 6 years, chains, £45; 1 do., 7 years, all places, £56 10/-; 1 do., 10 years, all places, £48; 1 do., 8 years, all places, £44; 1 draught mare, 5 years, all places, £60; 1 set 7-aside discs £12, 1 set M.H. 9-aside discs £19, 1 set 6-horse blocks and chains £4, 1 2-fur-row R. and G. plough £10, 1 tip dray £7, 1 R. and G. Stripper £5, 1 McCormick mower £16, 1 M.H. hay-rake £9 10/-, 1 McCormick reaper and binder £13. Harness and sundries realised satisfactory prices.
