Meeting of Executive A meeting of tke executive of the Hawke's Bay Wrestling Association. was held laet night, when .the chairman, Mr G. Henderson^ presided over the following: — Messrs Jos. Arrell, H. G. Apperley, J. L. Dunn, Tom King, E. Chittle, C. O. Tong, T. Naisbitt and the secretary -treasurer, Mr H. B. Bunny. A letter was received from a SoutJi island association stating that it had applied for the Blomfield-Marshall contest but, owing to a misunderstanding, tho applieation Avas late in arriving in Wellington, and asking the Hawke's Bay association, under the circumstances, to relinquish the contest to it. After a brief diseussion it was decided to reply stating that tho request could not be complied with. Final arrangements were made for the Blomfield-FJoyd Marshall contest, and a sub-comniittee AA'as appointed to go into ways aud means of providing additional seating acconmiodation on thc stage for .this bout. In lieu of the usual amateur prebminaries it was decided to match Herb Brinson. Hastings, and F. Sykes, New Plymouth, in a six ten-minutes profes- , sional bout and one amateur only.
