RUGBY, July 28. The decision of the Italian Government to free Mr. Tafara Werk, an Abyssinian who was formerly employed as an interpreter at the British Legation and Consulate General at Addis Ababa, was announced in the House of Commons by Mr. Anthony Eden, who oxplained that Mr. Werk's functions never entitled him to enjoy a privileged position, and the British Government, althougji it mado representations Rome, had no locus standi on his behalf. The Foreign Secretary added: "His Majcsty's Government appreciate the good will of the Italian Government and the personal interest which, I understand, the head of the Italian GoVernment has shown in this matter,"
