Sequel to Last Week's Trouble

APIA, July 27. As a result of the happenings of Thursday last four Samoans appeared before Chief Judge Morling and Associate Judge Anapu to-day and pleaded guilty to all charges. Mose was charged with wilful mischief and being armed with a dangerous weapon, and threatening behaviour and provoking a breach of the peace. He was convicted and senteni?ed to three months' imprisonment. Maae and Manuma tuatua were charged with being in possession of unlicensed hrearms and discharging the same in public and were convicted and sentenced to one month. Lokeni was charged with a similar offence and sentenccd to two weeks. The Chief Judge, summing up, commented adversely on inappropriato ancient customs beiug carried out in the main streets amongst the traffic. The incident may now be considered closed.
