IMPROMPTU RODEO

Bullock at Freezing-Works Scatters Workmen An jmpromptu rodeosperformance was given at the Tomoana freezing-works this morning when a bullock which was about to be slaughtered escaped from the "knocking" pen and took charge of the floor. - Something went wrong with the killing apparatus, and when the door was raised to slide the animal through ic got to its feet and tore round the mutton board. There were some 50 men in the room at the time, and they scattered in all directions. Some of the older men had not shown so much agility for many years, and anything at all that was ciimbable was climbed in very quick time. The excitement lasted for ten minutes and the beast was event'ually captured on the cooling floor, which was so slippery that the animal could not keep its feet.
