Allocation of Cost of Two Up-to-date Ships TENTATIVE ARRANGEMENTS

WELLINGTON, This Day. "Tentative arrangements have been made for the allocation of the cost of two up-to-date steamers for the Pacific service," said the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage to-day, "and we are satisfied that finality will be reached. Perhaps within a few weeks we wil^ be able to say that agrcement has befen arrived at." Mr. Savage added that details had to be submitted to the New Zealand, Australian, British and Canadian Governments before the matter could be fmalised.
