HASTINGS R.S.A. BALL
Next Week's Big Function The various committeea set np to mahe arrangements for the Hastings , R.S.A. ball, which takes place in the ASsembly Hall, Hastings, on Thursday, August 5, have made great prpgresB, and the details have been practically completed. With a very high standatd set in previous years the committee is more ansious than ever that this should be maintained, and judging by the .extreme enthusiasm whieh has been sliown there is little doubt whatever that this year's ball will be in every way as great an event as in the past. The programme committee has taken considerabJe trouble to select a programme of dance music that will be acceptablo to all who attend this pdpular function. Lea Henry's Orcliestra will supply the music, and the great rcputation that this combination has earnoed for itself ensures dancers tbafc the music will be to perfection. # The organisCrs aro wise enough to realise that although it is in some measuro a charity ball inasmuch as thc proceeds will be in aid of the R.S.A. 's work in assisting ex-servicemen in sickncss or in need, yet cxponso should not be stinted if the ball is'still to be the outstanding eveht of its kind in the year. Consequently the same principle as in previous yeaTS is being adopted, and there is no doubt whatr ever that the same magnificcnt result will be obtaiqpd. Remember the date, Thursday, August 5. t
