AUCKLAND, Last Night Dominion Brewerios Ltd. are issui-ig 40,000 uew £1 sliares to. tbeir present shareholdera at a premiuni of 7/6. Doiniuion Breweries made an issue oi 40,000 20/- shares at a premi'im of 2/6 eaeh in Angust, 1936, aud in Deeember paid its lirst interim dividetid at tbe rate of 8 per cenfc. per aunum as against" 6i per eent lor tbe previous full year. A further issue of 40,000 20/- ordinary shares at a preniium of 7/6 eaeh was made last February in ihe pioportion oi oue lor four. 1'he preniiutn was added to general reserve. The autliorised capital of rlie coinpany is i.'25U,000 iu 2li0,000 ordinary and 50,000 prel'erence shares >f 20/each. Ihe hebruary issue brought the paid capital up to £190,312 in 160,000 ordinary and 30,312 prefcrenee shares Ihe distrihution lor tbe year endeii .Vlareii 31 last was 9 per eent. on lioth ordinarv and preloronce sliares, reserves and undivided protits then standirig at L'62,198.
