VALEDICTORY
mr. h. c. olsen .Mr H. C. Olsen, manager of the State Theatre Hastings, has been transferred on promotion to manage the State Theatre, Wellington, and lei't Hastings by car yesterday, accompanxed by Mra Olsen. Mr H. Pearson, of Gisborne, has been appointed managier in Mr Olsen's place. and took up hiaadutiea in Hastings yesterday. Mr Olsen was met ab a farewell gathering in the State Theatre before his departure by members of the theatre stafi and oitizens of Hastings. On behalf of those present, Miss Chambers presenfced Mr Olsen with a crystal cocktail get.
