KUGBY, july 24. ■Biitish owners of tramp ships havo rcachcd a dccision to continue on a voluntary basig measures of co-opera-tion which originatcd as a condition of tho Govgmment subsidy in 1935, The spheme of co-operation provides for the observance of niiniinum freight rates and conditions, staudard forms of charter and National Maritime Board shipments and rCgiilatiofls of tdnnage. Ihe sub&idv scheme is still in operation, but owing to the improvenient in ilemand for tonnage and higher freight rates. it is quite likely the «uni of £2,000,000, which has been set asidc for tkc present ycar, will not nced to be uscd.
