HOUSING SCHEME

N.S.W. Government Aid (Received 26, 11.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, July 26.' The Premier, Mr B. S. B. Stevens, announced that between 3000 and 4000 new homes a year would be provided with Government aid at relatively low rates of interest and with easy terms of repayment under the Government housing scheme. At tlie present rate of buiiding between 50(10 and 6000 homes are going up each year without Government aid.
