Arrives Back Home on Wednesday WELCOME ARRANGED

WELLINGTON, This Day. A full programme of functions has been, arranged for Wednesday to we 1come the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage, on his return to Welling from the Coronation celebrations and the Imperial Conference, at which he officially represented New Zealand. The arrangements, of course, are subject to the arrival of the Rangitata at its sclieduled time, 10 a.m. The Prime Minister will receive his first welcome from his Ministerial colleagues, who will go out in the Janie Seddon to meet the Rangitata on arrival in the harbour. On coming ashore Mr Savage will be welcomed, by the Wellington Harbour Board. A caucus of members of the Labour Party has been called for 11 a.m. and at this Mr Savage will be welcomed by his Parliamentary followers and entertained at morning tea. Ministers and Labour members will entertain and welcome Mr Savage at another gathering arranged for ^the afternoon. Invitations to this have also been extended to presidents and secretaries of industrial organisations and branches.of tlie Labour Party. It is anticipated that between 400 and 500 will be present. A civic reeeption in honour of Mr Savage will be held in the Wellington Town Hall at night, and at this Mr Savage will be welcomed home by the Mayor, Mr T. C.
