(Eeeeived 26, 1.30 p.m.) BELGEADE, July 25. With the exception of the Minister of War the Government will not be represented at the funeral of the patriarch Narnava and the election of his successor, owingj to the Orthodox Bishop exeommunicating Ministers and Members of Parliament who voted for the Goncordat. Indignation against them is so great that Piinee Paul, when he visited the Cathedral where Narvana is lying in state was not - accoinpanied by Ministers, who had been warned that they would be turned out if they entered the cathedral. This indignity has already betallen Subovitch, Minister of Justice, with whom Synod also refused to discuss the Ooncordat. Two parliamentarians visiting the patriarch' s palace to express dondolences in his death, were beaten by a erowd. Djuritch, the ntember for BelgH'ade, was so manhandled that he was taken' to hospital. Aflgi-y women tore to shreds their coats and hats. The populace regard V arnava's death midst the crisis a national tragedy, thousands of inen, women and children who wero weepmg filing before tlie body and kissing the coffin.
