HASTINGS HARRIERS
Easy Pack Run Held on Saturday On Saturday the Hastings Harrier Windsor Park. The trail, which was Winasore Parlc. The trail, which was laid by I. and L. Dyer, included a good variety of harrier eountry, witli many fences, ditches, and gates to be crossecl. Although this run was not a lace, a run-in was held by the various packs over tlie final distance of about a baif-mile, and resulted is follow:— . East pack. — R. E. Taylor 1, A. Taylor 2, P. THUBSDAY SECTION There was a record attendance at tlie weekly run of the Hastings Harrier CJub. A massed run was held starting, fjom St. Columba Hall, Havelock North, and crossing country until Tauroa Station road was reaehed. This was fcllowed a cousiderable distance, and then the course was taken over the lnlls behind the Peak. Coming back over the top of the hills, the course came out on Tauroa Station road again and back along Chambers road and Te Mata road to the halL In all about eight niilcs -vyas covered, and the course proved an easy training run. A 440-yard run-in resulted: C. Wright 1, A. de Erere 2, K. Tucker 3. » Next Thursday's ruu will be from the sh( wgrounds. Bunuers are to meet at ihe Karamu road gates.
