Excellent Play in Saturday's Soccer Rangers and United were the respectivo winners in the two senior., Soccer games played on Nelson Park, Napier, on Saturday. ~Tlie matcli betTveen Hangers./' and Y.M.C.A. was marked by some lively play by botli sides. The ground was m good order, and the game- was fast and open from the start. . Y.M.C.A. played a good game on attack, but their defence was somewhat weak, so that, although they scored four goals, Bangers' di'd better and put on a tally of six. Somewhat similar was the game between United and Watersiders. TJnited, however, were not only combining better in attack but weer showing betdofence. Pollowing are the results: — > United (4) v Watersiders (23). — J. Vannan (2), H. Yannan and Hawthorne goaled for United, and Galbraith and Dunnett for Watersiders. Mr X Sticklahd was Teferee.
