Mrs Geary, Nortb Clyde, Wairoa, has been admitted as a patient to the Wairoa Hospital. Mr and Mrs G. Mclntyre, of Whar kaki, are visiting Hastings. Mr E. J. Salisbury was the guest of Mr and Mrs G. L. j3alglei.sU during his stay in Wairoa. Miss Antoinette Wilder, of Wallingford, ds the guest of Mrs J. F. Duncan, Rossall street, Christchurch. Miss Marjorie Hayes, of Nelson, is the guest of Mrs J. L. Brathwaite, of Waipukurau. Members of the Waipukurau Football Club assembled al'ter Saturday's Rugby matches at Central Park, Waipukurau, to bid farewell to R. Crappe, a inember of their senipr team, who is leaving to reside in the Aucltland district. Mr Crappe was made the recipient of a handsome shaving outfit, on whach his name was engraved. Mr and Mrs Walter Scott, who have resided at Wanstead for 10 years, have left for Waiheke Island, Auckland. Mr Scott, who was manager of the Nopera Estate property, has been appointed manager of a farm #on the island. During the fortnight prior to their departure Mr and Mrs Scott were the guests at functions in Wanstead, Wallingford, Porangahau and Waipukurau, both Maoris and pakehas expressing regret at their leaving and good wisbes for their future.
