N&w apporaching Wellington, 'the New Zealand Star, laden with 11,000 tons of cargo, has 9736 freight -tons for Wellington which will shatter the longistanding record of 7680 tons • set by the Athenic in- 1914. The remainder cl the cargo is to. be dispharged. at Lyttelton. The New Zealand Star is the cargo liner that was launehed at Belfast by Lord Bledisloe pressing a butlon at Government House, Wellington. She is due here on August 8.
