PLANE CRASHES IN PIECES

Explosion In Mid-Air . (Received 24, 10.40 a.m.) STOOKHOLM, July 23. After -an explosion in mid-air a military plane crashed in pieces at Lake Yettern. The pilot was drowned, .but the observer was rescued. The machihe was eugacred in machinegun exercises. It is believed that the propeller was sliot away, causing the motor to race and explode.
