World's 2000 Metres Record.

The Swedish rurrner, John Henry Jonsson, who came third In the 1936 Olympic Games 5000 metres run, made a world's record of 5m. 18.4s. for 2000 metres on July 2 at Stockholm. This beat Jules Ladoumegue's 5m. 21.8s. record made to 1931 at Paris.
