R.S.A. Ball on August 5 Tliere is something different about the annual R.S.A. ball which is td bd held in the Hastings Assembly HalJ on Thursday, August 5. What it is may not be easy to define, but as SOmeone remarked, "There's a feeling oi friendliness about everyone you ineet there that is not apparent at othef suchi functions." There is no doubt about it, the R.S.A. ball has becolne one of the most popular functions of the season, and judging from reports received from the various hard-working conimittees this year's ball will surpas those of the two previous yeafs. Once again the general public has been generous in the eXtreiiie, and promises have been given of many delicacieg for the sUpper.
