Alexander have been appointed members of the Board of Health under the Health Act for a period of three years, aeeording to a Gazette notice issued last night. j The resignation of Dr A. Wilkinson, house surgeon at the Hawera hospital, who has accepted the position of medical superintendent at Te Kopuru hospital, has been accepted with regret by the Hawera Hospital Board. Mr Hamilton Nimmo,- managing director of the firm of Hamilton Nimmo and Sons, Ltd., is to leave Wellington on Sunday evening for Auckland, there to connect with the Mariposa for Honolulu, where he i"s to spend. a holiday•Mr Hamilton Nimmo will be aecompanied by his son, Mr E. H. Nimmo. They expect to be away for about two months. Mr Arthur Henderson. M.P., son of the late leader of the Labour Party, told the Associated Press representabive before sailing in the Rangitane, that he was eagjer to see Australia and New Zealand and he thought the visit would be of great value. He will arrive in Wellifigtdn on AugUSt 25, and Sydney on September 6, leaving from Perth on October 11.
