Sale of Morrinsville Farms

MORRINSVILLE, Last Night. Of interegt as showing the opinion of farmors as to tlie va{ue of dairyiiig land was the disposal by auction yegterday of two fara properties pf 134 and 132 acres, on No. 8 road, Tatuanui, noar Morrinevillo. at £36 and £36 10/- an acre respeetivoly.' This land has been farme^ by Messrs. Carroll and ICeelcy for about 20 years, and was being offered for sale following a dissolution of partnorship. Flat, drained swamp land, well subdivided nnd with a dwelling on each of the two blocks, the property was typical of mueh of the land*in the Tatuanui and adjolning distriets, Ridding started at £30 an acre. in each case, There was a large assembly of prospective buycrs, ns the sale waa "held duriog an intervnl in the elearing sale, at whieh the two lierds were disposed of.
