M.T7RDER AND ROMANCE Gertrude Michael and Paul Cavanagh ar8 the central figures of the new Paramount mystery yarn, "Menace" which comes to the Municipal Theatre to-night. Under the direction of Ralph Murphy, "Menace" unfolds the strange and sinister story of three people, a charming woman and two men, who live under the death threat of a murderous madman. "Ready for Love," which also screens at the Municipal, tells the story of a young girl who knows how to get into trouble, but better still, knows how to get out again. The cast is headed by Richard Arlen, Ida Lupino and Marjorie Rambeau, with Marion Gering as ^he director, In "Ready for Love," Ida Lupino pJaye the role of Marigold Tate, a young, impetuous girl who upon her arrival in a small town creates a bad reputation and beeomes involved in a seandal. But Marigold is not the type to be downed by a bad reputation, and with perfect unconcern makes seandal pay her big dividends.
