LONDON, July 16. Reraarkable suecesa was achieved by the Ashton brothers, of Goulburn, New South Wales, in an auction sale of polo ponies used by thom in matches iu England, rcports a Sydney Sun correspondent. All the ponies weve bred in New South Wales. Twenty-nine realised 9625 guineas and the average price was 885 guineas, which is a record. The top price, 1700 guinoas, was paid by tho Maharajah of Kashmir. Otlier prices were 1000, 810 and 800 guineas.
