Kay Francis in "Stolen Holiday" Friday
For tlic reasons tliafc the ctory is both original and ingenious, tho acting excollent and the dialogue smootli, "Stolen Holiday" commencing at the Waipukurau Theatre to-morrovv, Friday evening, at 8 o'clock is entertainment lnuchi above the average. Kay Francis, who played the title role in "White Angel' ' is alluring and provocative, wliile lan Hunter, who gave a fine performance in the same picture and in 'I Found Stella Parish," plays the part ot the Bntish Diplo'mat with vvhom Miss Francis is in love. Some of the most interesting scenes in the picture are the mannequin parades in Miss Francis's modiste shop in Paris. These fashion sliows surpass anything of theii' kind even seen on tlie sereen.
