Left: In this redingote type of frock the new Bayadere print in navy and white is used to advantage over plain navy satin-backed crepe. Scalloping in navy adds a rather smart note to the outline of the redingote and jabot. The wide stitched belt is of flame red crepe. With the frock is worn a navy sailor in coarse straw, the upturned brim of which is trimmed with red grosgrain.
