Harvey, Fnlton and Hill report having held their weekly market sale in their mart on Saturday last, wheu, owing to the inclement weather, tho attendance of the public was not qulte as good as usual. There was again a very strong demand for poultry. , Prices may be quoted: — Poultry: B,0. pullets (on Iay) 6/6 to 7/6, later 4/3 to 4/9, W.L. pullets on lay 5/- to 6/6, later 3/-, to 4/3, B.O. cockerels 2/9 to 4/6, W.L. eockerels 2'- to 3/7 W.L. hens 2/11 to 3/3, B.O. hens 3/5 to 4/8, Sussex hens 2/6 to 3/4, ducks 5/- to 6/4 pair. Other saies included. — Saw 3/-, drill 3/6, blowlamp 3/6, Buick car' (not complete) £6, gents bicycle £2 5/-, ladies £1 15/-,' churn 3'-, ditto 12/'-, gent's bicycle £\ 15/-, ditto £1 10/-, matting 12/6. borse coljar £1 4/-, waiter £1, lirae distributor £12. single •nattrcss £1 5/-, concrete copper £5 5/-, Gateleg Table £1 10/-, single fur row nlough £3 5/-, wliile a fair assortment of sundries, fruit, vegetables were cleared at firm rates.
