WELLINGTON, This Day. A pedestrian was charged before the Magistrate, Mr W. P. Stilwell, to-day with crossing an intersection diagonally instead of using the marked pedesrian crossing at the intersection. He said that he had been injured and as a result had spent a nuinber of days in hospital. Tlie Magistrate, m vicw of itlio dei'endant's injurles, said he would not impose a fiuo, but ordered him to pay costs.
