WELLTNGT.ON, This Day. Sir William Hunt returned to-day by the Manganui from Sydney after spending two and a half weeks>in Australia, five and a half in England and making visits to 16 different countries. He travelled between England and Australia both ways by air, and the trip ineluded calls at Athens, Brindisi, Rome, and Marseilles. From Alexandria to Southampton Six William travelled on board one of Imperial Airways' new flying-boats such as will he coming to Australia within 12 months. "They are really wonderful machines," he said, "and there is no reason why they shonld not be used in the projected extension of the service to New Zealand." Of his aix travel as awhole, he said it was a worth-while experience and that he erg'oyed every minute of it. He was absent altogether 12 weeks from New Zealand.
