Mr T. L. Burnard has heen reappointed Hawke's Bay Education Board representative on the Gisborno Higlx School Board of Governor, sr. Mr J. H. Ballasis, London, is a visitor to Wellington. He is to leave for ' Napier, Rotorua and Auckland on : Monday. He will leave Auckland on August 6 to connect at Sydney with the Orford for England. Mr G. R. Ashbridge, secretary of the New Zealand Educational Institute, has returned to Wellington from the south. Mr Ashbridge, who has been awarded a Carnegie travelling scholarship (in administration), bas arranged to leave Wellington for Sydney by the Wanganella on August 2, to connect with the liner Orford for 3jpngland-. Later he will visit America. Mr Ashbridge, who will be accompanied by Mrs Ashbridge, expects to be absent from New Zealand for about 12 months.
