CAR OVER 90-FOOT BANK
Four People Injured in Napier HUI Smaih VEHICLE A TOTAL WRECK Four people were injured on Saturday evening when the car m which they were passengers rolled over the bank from the road below the Napmr Hospital to Goldsmith road, 90 feet below, down a steep slope. Three of the passengers are now lnmates ot the Napier PuhBc Hospital, including two nurses. The car, driven by Mr D. McDonald, of Pakowhai, with Mr H. Gibson as a passenger, called at the Nurses Home and picked up Mr McDonald s sister and a companion, Miss Crawford. They intended going to a dance. Mr McDonald drove along the extension of Napier Terrace, where, *t» understood the lights failed and the car turned over the bank, rolling over several times before landing upside down on tho surface of Goldsimtli road, completely wrecked. Miss Crawfprd escaped with minor cuts and bruises, but the other three were admitted to the hospital, Mr and Miss McDonald being in a serious condition.
