CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The Rangatira was 2\ hours lnte in arrivirig from Wellington to-day, having experienced the roughest trip yet. Tlie fury of the gale and liigh seas reduced speed to knots. The vessel carried 411 passenget's, and in Cook Strait shipped two big seas, but sUstained no damage. The seas ilooded the captain'e quarters on tlie boat deck.
