Union Secretary Receives Reformative Term

^ AUCKLAND, Tliis Day. _ feefitdnce of twelve inonths reformative detention was imposed by Mr Justide Fair ifl the Supreme Court on Charles Gordon Lindsay for the theft of £60 while secretary 0f the Auckland llrivers and related trades Union, to which, charge accused pleaded guilty. Lindsay was not represented by counsel. "X have nothmg to say your Honour," he said. He had a previous oonviction for theft in 195>8 but in view Oi the long perjod which had since •lapsed, the Jud^e did not take that into accounL
