The wedding had been rather spoilt by a baby whieh insisted upon crying at. the top of its voice throughout thc eeremony. Afterwards, at the reception, the best man commented on the nuisance and suggesterl that children should not be allow, ed in church. "You're quite right, " said a ten-year-old bridcsmaid. " Wheu I get married I'm going to have a note printed iu the corner of all the invitation eards — 'no babies expected.' "
