(Eeceived 16, 11 a.m.) LONDON, July 15. In the match Gentlemen v. Players, Players in their flrst innings made 229 (Hutton 34, Hardstaff 39; Farnes five for 65). Gentlemen, in their second Innings, made 181 (Mitchell-Innes 50). Players, in their second innings, lost two for 1121 (Compton not out 34, Paynter not out 37). Players won by eiaht wickets.
