CLUB GOLF
Ladies' Inter-CIub Match HASTINGS v. WAIPUKURAU A very jolly day was spent on the Maharakeke links yesterday when a team from the Hastings Ladies' Golf Club played an inter-club match with members of the Waipukurau Ladies' Golf Club. The home team were the winners by six games. At the conclusion of the day's play, Mrs Jeffei'd, on behalf of the Hastings players, thanked the Waipukurau Club for the most enjoyable day. Miss Speedy (captain) responded on behalf of the Waipukurau Club. Following is a summary of the games, Hastings playere being mentioneu first: — Miss Thompson beat Miss Tareha; Miss M. Jeft'erd beat Miss Main; Mrs Prescott lost to Miss Billington; Mrs Toothill loet to Mrs Maekie; Mrs Murley lost to Mrs Urquhart; Mrs Carreil halved with Miss Speedy; Miss Yule halved with Miss Schroder; Mrs Meikle lost to Mrs J. Hunter; Mrs Vesty lost to Miss Moorhead; Mrs Redgrave lost to Mrs Logan; Mrs Faulkner beat Miss Rood; Mrs McLeod beat Miss Ridd.ell; Miss Struthers beat Miss Monckton; Mrs Redward lost to Mrs Hewitt; Mrs Jefferd halved with Mr." Hobson; Mrs Mclntosh beat Mrs HartIand; Mrs Hill lost to Mrs Train; Mrs Wellwood lost to MisB Armstrong; Miss Peddie beat Mrs McCormick; Mrs Brown lost to Mrs Wilson; Mrs Murphy lost to Mrs Tareha; Mrs Palmer lost to Mrs Fleming;.
