WEDDING GOWN OF IVORY CREPE-BACKED SATIN
BOTHERWAY — MORLEY lvory crepe backed satin fashioned the ' charming wedding gown which was Worn by Hazel Ruth, eldest daugUcor of Mr and Mrs T. H. Morley-, Pakowhai road, Hastings, at her lrlamage to Jack, son of Mrs Botherway and the late Mr B. Botlierway, of Hastings. The Jtev. 11. B. Gosneil officiated at tbe • ceremony, which took place last evening at the Methodist Chureli, Hastings, .which was decorated with bowls of . camellias, iceland poppies ancl foliage. Ihe bride's gown of satin was cut with a shirred panel in the skirt in front and a train falling from a matchmg panel at the back. The square cowlfed necltline had a cluster of orange blossom at one side and tiny covered ' buttons finished the corsage at the back and also the long httihg sleeves which were pointed over the hanis. A plaited girdle defined the waist. She wore a veil of Brussels net, lent by her cousin, arranged with a circlet of grange blossom and carried an ■ arni-shower ' of Ireesias, winter roses and fern. The bride, who was given away by her i'ather, was atteuded by a matron of honour, her cousin, .Mrs Jaines Vaughan, of Wellington, whose gown was of coronation green lacquered taffeta classically fashioned, with a plain front and fish'tail back. The sleeves were softly draped and the corsage was finished with a Mediei coilar. She wore gold shoes, and green fiowers iu her haid • and carried an arm-slxower of golden tinted fiowers. The duties of bcst man were carried out by Mr-Percy Botherway, the bridegroom's brother. ■ " - The reception was held at the homc of the bride's parents, Mr and Mrs X. H. " Morley,' who received the guests. Mrs Morley wore a gown of wine. fioral matelasse with a wme hat and carried a bouquet of' autumn tinted fiowers. The briedgroom's mother, Mrs Botlierway, wore a frock of burgundy cloque with a black hat and her bouquet was of violets and fern. After a very • happy reception tho bride and bridegroom left for iheir honeymoon, ■ the bride having changed into her travelling suit, a deep greeii tailored costume worn with a green hat and accessories. Among those prestvnt were : — Mr and Mrs I. Morley, the bride's aunt and uncle ; Mr and Mrs J). Morley, the bride's brother and sister-in-Jaw; Mr and Mrs C. Pell, Miss H. Morley, the Misses J. and I. Morley and Misses W. and Ti. Morley.
