"Lighthouses" with illuminated glass walls, on which aro showu'the distances to and the dircctions for Teaching Berlin, Dresden and many other leading citics, are the latcst traffic facilitics to bo introduced in Leipzig. The signs havo been so built that they can be seen for a considerablc distance in the city, and thus serve as guides. They aro supplcmented by other illuminated indicators at cross roads, which indicato tho nearcst and clearest main roads through the city.
