COLLISION SEQUEL

Both Claim and CounterClaim Fail A claimi and counter-claim for damages, arising out of a motor collision on the Waimarama-Hastings road on April 8, was heard before Mr J. Miller, S.M., in the Hastings Magistrate's Court yesterday afternoon. The plaintiff was Carl F. Vogtherr, pork butcher, of Hastings, who claimed £34 4/- from R. Sherwood, carrier of Hastings, alleging that the defend'ant drove a motor-lorry negligently, colliding with plaintiff's car, which suffered damage as a result. A counter-claim was entered by Sherwood for £29 12/8 against Yogtherr, it being claimed that plaintiff had negjligently driven a motor-car so as to dollide with the defendant's motorlorry^ which was damaged. A non-suit was entered in both claima, no costs being allowed.
