FINE FOR DRUNKENNESS

A fine of 10/-, iu default 4S hours' imprisonment, was imposed by Mr A. J. C. Runciman, -J.P., at the Hastings Police Court this morning upon John Cosgrove, who pleaded guilty to a ekarge of being found drunk at the Hastings Municipal Theatre last night while a public performance y/as in progress, this being his second ott'cnce within the statutory period of sis months. He was taken in custody at 9.30 o 'clock. He admitted that he had had a few drinks but could. not remember beiiig drunk.
