Accident on Road at Night

ROTORUA, Last Night. Fatal in juries were received . by Mr George Bruce Bailey.-aged 23, a mill hand at Ngongotaha, the son of Mr and Mrs C. Bailcy, of Manurewa, Auckland, as a result of a motor-cycle accident.' Mr Bailey collided with a bicycle ridden by a youth, Desmond Craig, also of Ngongotaha, on the Rotorua_Ngongotaha road on Monday night. aMr Bailey was later admitted to the public hospital with a fractured skull, and succumbed to his injury this morning; The cyclist, who suffered facial injuries and concussion, was also admitted to hospital and this evening his condition was repoyted to be not serious. . The riders were travelling in the same direction when the accident occurred. Mr Bailey was thrown to the rpadway several yards ahead of the point of impact and was picked up seriously injured on the other side of the road.
