WELLINGTON, This Day. The Hon. F. Jones says that the Government hap no intention of using the New Plymouth airport; nor has it eonsidered such an idea. "The airport," he says, "is the property of the Borough Council. It is true, however, that steps are in progress for the acquisition of a snitable area of land at Ohakea, between Palmerston North and Wanganui, for a delencq airport."
