UNIONISTS' "TRIAL"
Sequel To London Bus Strike (Received 15, 31 a.m.) LONDON, July 14 The Transport Workers' Union, after a secret "trial, " expelled seven members, including Mr Papworth, who allogedly unofficially assumed the leadership in the early stages of the reeent London bus strike, and suspended a number of others. It is expected that the busmen's rank-and-fire movement will now collapse. Union members associating with it are warned that they are liable to severe disciplinary action.
