More Suspects in Melbourne Area MELBOffENE, Jlily 13. ] Another case of infantile paralysis' was reported to-day and two more suspects from the same area as the prcvious cases. The chairman of the Health Commission, Dr. Featonby, said the outbreak was extraordinary in that it was confined to one small area. The first known centre was the Ormond State school. Another unusual aspect was the occurrence of three cases in one family and two in another. All the pationts and 6uspcets have beon isolated. School clesure wa3 not helpful but was bcing unofficially applicd by the action of parents. Asked whether the outbreak had any connection with New Zealand Dr. Featonby said there were means of deteeting carriers.
