AUCKLAND, Last Night, No developments have been reporteJ from the police invesligations into the eyplosioa which caused injury to Mr. R. A. Singer just after he had entered the gate to his residence on Fridny evening and the matter remains a mystery. The only evidence available con> cerns the materials used ia ,tko bomb and nothing had been revealed to point to the identity of the perpetrator of the outrage. The helief that a trip wire was used is brought into disfavour as Mr. Singer 's daughter had previously walked along the path and at the time of the expiosion was avvay on an enand. An X-ray exauiination revealed two pipces of nietal in the wouiid in Mr. Singer 's leg and to-night he was reujoved 10 a private hospital wliero hc will undergo an operation for the ronieval of the wetal.
