Mr Naeh emphasised the hhildioap that British shippidg was suffering owing to the exclusion of traffic between Ameriea and HawaiL He said that he Wotild diseuss the situation with the United States. Referring to the trans-Tasman legislation, he pointed out that it had not yet beeff applied but indicated that he would geek an adjnstment of it in the hope of preventing continued dfeagreement.
