COLORADO WITHDRAWN

(Receaved 13, 11.0 a.m.) WASHINGTON, July 13. The Naval Hepartment announced that the Colorado has been withdrawn mom the search for Mrs Putnam and is heading north to refuel the three destroyers accompanying the Lexington, after which the Colofado will pfoceed to Honolulu, The Swan, after refuelling, is proceeding to Iatitude 0 longitude 175 west to continue the search. The Itasca is searching her assigned area which she completOs at Iatitude 1.74 south.
